What are the differences between rigid and soft lenses?

Soft lenses are in the majority to the extent that they can be described as being synonymous with the vast majority of optic lenses on the market today. A soft lens has a limited life usage which can vary between one day and a year depending on the model.

The soft lens is often more comfortable from the first stage of usage in marked contrast to the rigid lens which requires several weeks of introductory usage before also becoming fairly comfortable. The wearbility of rigid lenses is not dictated by a stipulated period of time but is rather dictated by the condition and maintenance of the lens pair.
